Becoming Psych Savvy: The Psychology of the Sexes
Two Day workshop
Perth Convention Centre
‘Becoming Psych Savvy’ helps men and women gain an understanding that gender is a socially constructed category that is instilled in us by society from a very young age. The connotations that come with the gender labels have prevented many women from reaching their full potential, and at times, prevented men and women from working together successfully. With this knowledge, the course then provides participants with the skills to work around these barriers so both the individual and the organisation can reach their full potential, by understanding the psychological processes at play in the workplace.
‘Becoming Psych Savvy’ also provides participants with the skills to break down the communication barriers between the sexes by educating people about the psychology of women and men. The course answers questions such as ‘Are men and women really different?’ and ‘How can we understand each other better?’ and provides tangible skills to assist women to move effortlessly to the next level of their career.
Course dates:
14 and 15 August, 2007
